About this role
The team is seeking a dedicated Field Support Engineer to ensure compliance with ESH (Environment, Safety, and Health) standards and site hygiene. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety practices and supporting operational efficiency at various tower sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with organizational ESH requirements and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify that all equipment used is correctly rated and suitable for the tasks at hand.
- Promote and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by both yourself and technicians on site.
- Provide regular training on ESH practices and monitor adherence to safe practices at tower sites.
- Support outage escalations by coordinating with Operational Companies (OPCOs) as needed.
- Facilitate site access for tenants and provide necessary support during site activities.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and compliance measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in field support or a similar role, preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of ESH compliance and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
