About this role
The team is seeking an experienced ETL Tester with strong Python programming skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and identifying discrepancies across source and target systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for ETL/data pipelines.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data requirements and testing needs.
- Identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.
- Generate and maintain test documentation and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with ETL testing and data validation processes.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in ETL testing or data quality assurance.
