About this role
The team is seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer with expertise in Power BI to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of data transformation processes, as well as delivering insightful analytics to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and testing needs.
- Utilize Power BI to create and validate reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet user specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on ETL processes and data models.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in ETL testing and data validation techniques.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in ETL testing and data analytics.
