About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - DevOps to lead a team focused on designing and managing ultra-low latency cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, as well as experience in CI/CD and GitOps automation for real-time trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect high-availability systems using container orchestration platforms such as EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Design and implement robust container, network, and platform security protocols.
- Drive security compliance, encryption, and integrate DevSecOps practices into the development lifecycle.
- Lead the CI/CD and GitOps automation efforts to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to meet high throughput and latency targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical strategies and project deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing DevOps teams and projects.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, IaC tools, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies.
- Experience in implementing security protocols and compliance measures in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps and engineering management.
