The team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager specializing in Data to lead their innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development of scalable data solutions that support the company's mission of making crypto and blockchain accessible to all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines and architectures to ensure efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights that drive business decisions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the data engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
