About this role
The team is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee daily engineering operations within their facilities. In this role, you will direct engineering activities and ensure that the right team is assigned to the right tasks, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily engineering activities and manage team assignments.
- Ensure all hotel engineering systems, equipment, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
- Create a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, maintenance requests, and operational emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest facilities and engineering systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and improve service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in engineering management or a related field.
