About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Engineer - Programmer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and data management, focusing on CNC programming and tooling selection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering data and import solid models from Teamcenter for CNC programming.
- Develop CNC programs using Edgecam, applying standardized manufacturing strategies and templates.
- Maintain a centralized CNC Program Register with final, proved-out programs and revision control.
- Prepare stage drawings and setup sheets for all programmed operations.
- Select tools and holders from approved global libraries for efficient machining processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in CNC programming and operation, particularly with Edgecam.
- Strong understanding of engineering data interpretation and solid modeling.
- Experience with Teamcenter or similar data management systems.
- Knowledge of tooling selection and post-processing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in CNC programming and engineering data management.
