The team is seeking a skilled Java API Developer to join their engineering team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust API solutions that enhance system functionality and improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and experience with API development.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar.
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically in Java and API development.
