The team is seeking an experienced IT Cloud Engineer with a focus on DevOps to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that enhance the reliability and profitability of airline operations. You will be part of a diverse, high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions, including Kubernetes platforms in Azure or other public clouds.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and enterprise architects to implement cloud solution best practices, ensuring security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure customer needs are met by aligning product strategy objectives with user requirements and technical environment compatibility.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and changes effectively to customers and stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
- Manage the lifecycle of cloud solutions, ensuring systems are up to date.
- Write, test, and document technical work products according to organizational standards.
- Monitor cloud systems for availability, performance, and cost efficiency, optimizing resource usage.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in cloud environments, providing support for internal teams.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support business-critical applications and conduct root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Azure (preferred) or AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability while maintaining simplicity.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with all levels of the organization.
