About this role
The Software Engineer III is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for the team’s platform while providing technical leadership within the team. This role works closely with Product Management, Quality Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design and implement software solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
- Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with front-end technologies like React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on scalable applications.
