About this role
The team is seeking a talented Engineer - II Firmware to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for a variety of embedded systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of firmware solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
- Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues in a timely manner.
- Document firmware design and development processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to firmware development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development tools.
- Experience with hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART.
- Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for embedded firmware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in firmware development.
