The team is seeking an Engineer II, Embedded Software to join their Global Surgical Solutions team. This role involves identifying technical problems and providing innovative, creative solutions while sharing technical knowledge with the team. The ideal candidate will incorporate business, market, industry, and competitive knowledge into technical solutions that can adapt to changes in technology and clinical use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical problems in embedded software.
- Develop innovative solutions and alternatives while assessing reasonable risks.
- Participate in the design and development of modules or projects.
- Ensure high-quality software releases and timely resolution of issues by demonstrating a strong customer focus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback and improve software functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and experience with embedded systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
