The team is seeking a skilled Engineer specializing in Firmware Linux Development to join their Life Safety Division. This role is focused on developing next-generation technology solutions that enhance user interaction with devices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Linux-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize existing firmware for performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in firmware development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in firmware development for Linux systems.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with embedded systems.
- Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, or UART.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in firmware development.
