About this role
The team is seeking an Engineer 2 - SDET (Cypress) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing financial technology solutions by translating requirements into functional software. You will actively participate in coding, testing, and code reviews while improving applications and processes for scalability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance software solutions using Cypress for automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in software applications.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Cypress and experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and practices.
- Experience in coding with JavaScript or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development and testing.
