About this role
The team is seeking an Embedded SW & Firmware Leader to oversee their team for the HVDC SL - Product Care business. In this role, you will lead the daily execution of software products, define the technical roadmap, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions. You will also be instrumental in growing the engineering team in Hyderabad and collaborating across the company to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of software and firmware engineers.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for software products.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Oversee project timelines and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in embedded software and firmware development.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with embedded systems and hardware integration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in embedded software and firmware development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
