About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Architect to lead the design and development of innovative software solutions across various product platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in software architecture and a deep understanding of real-time embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software architecture considering all layers of software, utilizing in-house and/or AUTOSAR architecture.
- Develop and optimize real-time embedded software for multi-core microcontrollers, specifically IFx TC3x.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand microcontroller hardware and associated schematics.
- Utilize Model Based Design methodologies to integrate hardware and software effectively.
- Implement and manage communication protocols such as SPI and DMA, as well as serial communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and practices.
- Extensive experience in real-time embedded software development.
- Proficiency with multi-core microcontrollers and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Model Based Design techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in embedded software architecture and development.
