The team is seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer II to join their team in the aerospace sector. This role is pivotal in advancing technology that enhances navigation, operational efficiency, and overall safety in aviation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for aerospace applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues in embedded systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all engineering activities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly language.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in embedded systems engineering, preferably within the aerospace or defense industries.
