The team is seeking a skilled EL - OffS ET Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data extraction and transformation processes using Python and dbt. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based extract/load scripts to facilitate data movement.
- Implement dbt transformation models to ensure data is accurately processed and transformed.
- Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) and its best practices.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
