About this role
The team is seeking an experienced EDI Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business concepts, business rules, data flow, and database structures of supported systems. You will be responsible for developing and deploying EDI and EDIFACT transactions, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy EDI and EDIFACT transactions.
- Understand and manage the end-to-end EDI lifecycle development from specification to production installation.
- Provide specifications, flow charts, and/or pseudo-code for the design of new applications or updates to existing applications.
- Map data elements effectively, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Identify compliant and non-compliant aspects of EDI transactions and address them accordingly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards and practices.
- Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and languages.
- Experience with database management and data flow analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in EDI development or a related field.
