About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Edge Devices Operations Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IoT devices, focusing on troubleshooting and understanding end-to-end capabilities. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and investigate issues related to IoT devices and the AWS cloud platform.
- Maintain and support network and connectivity devices, acquiring necessary technical expertise.
- Enhance and improve monitoring capabilities using various toolsets, including AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations of edge devices.
- Document and report on device performance and incidents to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IoT device management and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and related tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in IoT and cloud operations.
