About this role
The team is seeking an experienced EDC Developer to join their Data Management department on a full-time 6-month contract. The EDC Developer will be responsible for building the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) application for complex projects, working under the direction of the Director of Data Management and with oversight from the Project Data Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create EDC systems including structure, workflow, edit checks, and user roles & permissions based on data standards (CDASH), study protocols, and standard eCRF templates.
- Implement functionalities such as Randomisation, ePRO, IMP Management, and Targeted SDV as applicable.
- Develop all study-level documentation related to the EDC System, including specifications, test plans, and training materials.
- Address mid-level challenges and respond to sponsor requests and concerns effectively.
- Perform post-live changes to the EDC system and applicable reporting applications under the Change Control process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharma, or a related health discipline from an accredited university.
- Essential experience with Zelta v2.0.
- Prior experience in EDC system creation and Edit Check programming (Zelta, Medidata) is a must.
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in data standards (CDASH & SDTM) and their application in EDC system creation.
Nice-to-haves:
- CDASH Certification preferred.
