About this role
The team is seeking a Digii Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable and maintainable backend services that support business-critical applications. You will work extensively with Java and Spring-based technologies, design RESTful APIs, and build event-driven solutions using Kafka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for various applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing backend services for better performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in backend development.
