About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Software Support Engineer to independently diagnose and resolve standard to moderately complex vehicle faults using premium OEM diagnostic tools. This role is critical in ensuring the effective functioning of diagnostic systems and enhancing vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform DTC analysis and fault finding to identify issues effectively.
- Conduct ECU programming, coding, and adaptations as required.
- Troubleshoot CAN Bus systems to ensure proper communication between vehicle components.
- Utilize OEM tools such as XENTRY, ISTA, ODIS, PIWIS, and Bosch KTS for diagnostics.
- Document diagnostic processes and validate repair solutions for accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with premium OEM diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in DTC analysis, ECU programming, and CAN Bus troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple diagnostics tasks.
- Relevant technical qualifications in automotive technology or engineering.
Experience: 4-8 years in a similar role, with a minimum of 4 years using premium OEM diagnostic tools.
