About this role
The team is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps & Product Security Engineer to embed security across the software development and deployment lifecycle. This role will focus on application security, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices for modern SaaS and AI-enabled platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management for applications and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DevSecOps tools and practices.
- Proficiency in cloud security, particularly with AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of application security frameworks and tools (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST).
- Familiarity with container security and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, application security, or cloud security.
