About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating security practices into the DevOps process, ensuring that security is a key component of software development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security tools and processes in the DevOps pipeline.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD workflows.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide training and support to development and operations teams on security best practices.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in DevSecOps practices and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools, vulnerability scanners, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-11 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps or related fields.
