About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability of a platform that processes real insurance claims and facilitates financial transactions between institutions. As a founding engineering hire, you will play a pivotal role in building the company's entire infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline operations and improve deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
