DevOps Engineer - Contractor

The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to enhance their cloud infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing secure cloud architectures on AWS while also developing CI/CD pipelines and automating operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize highly available and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines from code commit to deployment, improving release frequency and quality.
• Automate configuration management and incident response using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and custom scripts.
• Manage AWS cloud resources and network configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform.
• Configure and monitor AWS CDN services to ensure the availability and performance of static assets and streaming media.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing systems for rapid issue identification and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proficient with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Loki.
• Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Shell, Python, Go).
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFront and CDN operations.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
