About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to take ownership of their CI/CD pipelines and enhance the deployment processes for two critical applications: a Lease Accounting Tool and a Book Close Validation Agent. This role is essential for ensuring that software releases are automated and efficient, moving away from manual deployment steps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage CI/CD pipelines for both applications.
- Implement containerized deployment strategies to streamline the release process.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate testing and deployment workflows.
- Ensure production environments are hardened and secure.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
- Document processes and provide training to team members on DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
- Knowledge of database management, particularly with MongoDB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a related field.
