About this role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will take the lead in implementing programs to assist the team in migrating from traditional application development, deployment, and testing processes to a modern DevOps-driven approach. This role requires conducting in-depth initiation analysis, collaborating closely with various stakeholders, and proposing an automation strategy for DevOps implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of existing applications to a DevOps framework.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to define and implement best practices.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy for deployment and testing.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and delivery of objectives.
- Monitor and optimize performance of the DevOps processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in a DevOps or related role, with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
