About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment, platform, and automation support for HPCWorks applications across various environments including Development, QA, staging, lab, and customer-like settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support HPCWorks applications in multiple environments.
- Validate environment readiness by provisioning VMs, configuring operating systems, and installing necessary packages.
- Conduct Kubernetes-based deployment activities, including setting up namespaces and deploying applications.
- Validate configurations and perform post-deployment checks to ensure successful application performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Understanding of system administration and networking concepts.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
