About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work in an agile software development environment, focusing on automating the build-test-deploy lifecycle for a wide variety of applications. You will be responsible for enhancing Groovy, Shell, and Perl scripts, while also testing platform services and contributing code to multiple automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate the build-test-deploy lifecycle for various applications.
- Enhance and maintain Groovy, Shell, and Perl scripts.
- Collaborate with Development, IT Operations, and QA teams, both onshore and offshore.
- Contribute to multiple automation projects to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Groovy, Shell, and Perl scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field is required.
