About this role
The team is seeking a hands-on Application Support Engineer to join their Technology Operations team. This role is responsible for building, automating, and supporting infrastructure and application services across a range of enterprise platforms and third-party software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support and automation, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Support and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed.
- Document processes, configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application support and automation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role is required.
