About this role
The team is seeking a skilled DevOps Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services and a proven track record of managing both development and operations. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily using AWS services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker for application deployment and scaling.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Nagios.
- Perform Unix Administration and ensure system security and compliance.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python or Shell for automation tasks.
- Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of overall experience in DevOps roles.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, ELK, Prometheus, Nagios, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Comfortable with Unix Administration and scripting in Python/Shell.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
