About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop and laptop systems, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows OS (Windows 7/10) and Microsoft Office (2007–2022, O365).
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals in both workgroup and domain environments.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting and replace components such as RAM, HDD, SMPS, and motherboards.
- Install and troubleshoot applications and antivirus software, while resolving malware and virus issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and address email-related problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Familiarity with antivirus software and malware resolution techniques.
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting email clients, specifically Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in desktop support or a similar role.
