About this role
The team is seeking a Deputy Manager for IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration to oversee and enhance their cloud and server infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, highly available systems across various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy secure infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Administer O365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, along with hybrid AD/Azure AD environments.
- Manage VMware vCenter, ESXi, and VDI solutions, including Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware.
- Implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies and backups, while monitoring cloud resources for compute, storage, and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls to maintain network security and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design and administration, particularly with AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of O365 administration and hybrid Active Directory environments.
- Experience managing VMware technologies and VDI solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting networking hardware, including Cisco devices.
- Familiarity with security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration is required.
