About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Snowflake to support the performance, security, and reliability of their cloud data platform. In this role, you will collaborate with senior DBAs and data engineering teams to maintain Snowflake environments and implement established best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize Snowflake environments to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior DBAs to implement best practices for database management and security.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Assist in the design and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience: 3-5 years in database administration, specifically with Snowflake.
