About this role
As a Senior DB2 Database Administrator, you will showcase your DB2 expertise on AIX, Linux, and Windows platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization's databases. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database systems using DB2 on AIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate database solutions with applications and services.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular database backups and recovery operations.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in DB2 database administration.
- Proficiency in AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.

Experience:
