About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DataOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DataOps practices with a focus on AWS and Azure DevOps, Databricks setup and management, PostgreSQL administration, Docker management, CI/CD setup, and Azure/AWS infrastructure management. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of data infrastructure, enabling efficient and reliable data operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement DataOps practices to streamline data workflows.
- Manage and optimize Databricks environments for data processing and analytics.
- Oversee PostgreSQL database administration, ensuring performance and security.
- Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Databricks, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
- Experience in managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in DataOps or related fields.
