The team is seeking a Database Lead/Technical Lead to oversee and enhance their database systems. This role involves leading a team of database professionals and ensuring the effective design, development, and maintenance of database solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of database professionals in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems.
- Conduct training programs for staff on database development and maintenance best practices.
- Recruit and develop top-tier talent while leveraging external resources for critical initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on database project status to management.
- Provide guidance on database structures, features, and architecture to optimize performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with data modeling and database architecture best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
