The team is seeking a skilled Database Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with databases at an unparalleled scale, taking ownership of critical infrastructure, and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain NoSQL and SQL databases, with a focus on MongoDB.
- Host, maintain, and manage large MongoDB clusters in cloud environments.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to design database solutions that meet application requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest database technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Significant experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions for database management.
- Experience with Time Series Databases is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database engineering and administration.
