The team is seeking an experienced Database Administrator with expertise in MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL. This role is critical in managing and optimizing database systems to ensure high performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our software platform, which is designed to assist vulnerable individuals in various service environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet application requirements.
- Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all databases.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL database management systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and database scripting.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with data security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in database administration or a related field.
