The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and optimize their database systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database design, build, and configuration, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and configure Oracle databases to meet business requirements.
- Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries and batch processes.
- Perform backup, recovery, and restore verification to ensure data integrity.
- Manage database replication and clustering for enhanced performance.
- Oversee user access management and enforce database security protocols.
- Maintain both production and non-production environments according to best practices.
- Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle databases and related technologies.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and backup strategies.
- Knowledge of database security practices and user access management.
- Familiarity with replication and clustering techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle databases.
