About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join their Data Analytics team, focusing on developing real-time dashboards for critical government projects. The DBA will play a key role in managing and optimizing databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and security, while supporting the integration of multiple data sources into a centralized analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Optimize database queries and structures for maximum efficiency.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Support data integration from various sources into the analytics platform.
- Collaborate with data analysts and developers to enhance data accessibility and usability.

- Prepare and maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud database solutions and data security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in database administration.
