The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain their database systems effectively. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MySQL and stored procedures, along with a solid background in a Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries to improve database efficiency.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes as necessary.
- Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in MySQL and stored procedures.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in database administration.
