The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing databases, particularly in Azure SQL environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize slow-running queries and stored procedures in Azure SQL.
- Design and implement efficient indexing strategies to improve performance and reduce resource usage.
- Utilize tools like Query Store, Execution Plans, and Azure SQL Insights to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Design and manage table partitioning strategies to optimize query performance and support large datasets.
- Collaborate with development teams to review SQL code, schema changes, and data management practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and related technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
- Experience with database monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration or a related field.
