The team is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain database systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
