About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services. You will play a crucial role in building and managing data lake and data warehouse solutions, optimizing data storage, retrieval, and performance across various data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Build and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions, including Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics.
- Optimize performance for both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to support self-service BI and advanced analytics.
- Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
- Proficiency in building data lake and data warehouse solutions.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data optimization techniques.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration or related fields.
