About this role
The team is seeking a Data Security Engineering Specialist to join their Cyber Threat & Engineering (CT&E) Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the response and management of cyber incidents, employing an intelligence-led approach to identify, mitigate, and rapidly respond to threats that could impact the organization on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to cyber incidents effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Utilize data analytics to identify vulnerabilities and improve cybersecurity measures.
- Develop and implement engineering principles to enhance the technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply lessons learned from incidents to bolster cybersecurity posture.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure best practices are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in cybersecurity incident response and management.
- Proficiency in data analytics and the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements.
- Familiarity with engineering principles related to cybersecurity technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data security and incident management.
