The team is seeking a Data Scientist who will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. As a key member of the team, you will work with a diverse range of data generated from daily commute operations, including ETAs, occupancy rates, routing, and demand analytics. This position requires a unique blend of classical machine learning skills and real-time data processing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to daily commute operations.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to predict demand and optimize routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into strategic business decisions.
- Design and maintain real-time data pipelines to ensure timely data availability.
- Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
