About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying valuable data sources and automating collection processes, as well as undertaking preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data. You will analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns, build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, and combine models through ensemble modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and automate data collection processes from various sources.
- Preprocess and clean structured and unstructured data for analysis.
- Analyze data to uncover trends and patterns that inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
- Utilize ensemble modeling techniques to enhance model performance.
- Present findings using data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics roles.
